Hobby Boss 1/35 scale Skoda PA-2 Turtle
This is a pre WW2 Skoda armored car in Czechoslovak markings.
Light pole is from Tamiya purchased back in early 80's.
Hand painted with Vallejo paints.
Lamppost held in place with a magnet. So model can fit into smaller box.
Camo demarcation is made with brown Tombow ABT 879, water based marker
Weathered with oil wash and Mig pigments.

All wheels sanded flat to look weighted.
Painting is the most difficult part of this kit.
I'm still not sure which is the front. Conflicting info on internet.
Based on kit instructions this is the front. I'm sticking with it.
Leaves are made from actual leaves from yard.
Base is from scratch. Cobblestones were individually stamped into water putty.
Leafs were punched out using Green Stuff World leaf punch ref. 1310
Scratch built manhole cover.
Base is missing a figure for sense of scale.
Pink foam insulation, plastic, and Durhams water putty. Base ready for painting.
Magnet in lamp post base a nail head in sidewalk.
Tools used to stamp cobblestones into wet water putty.
Painted and weathered with oil washes, Mig pigments, and graphite powder on manhole cover.
Leaves glued down and highlighted with paint and washes.
